Overview: International Logic Systems, Inc. (ILS), located in Fairfax, Virginia, has an opening for a seasoned Delivery Project Manager that has the ability to lead a team, successfully integrate applications, and support operations and maintenance projects. Responsibilities: Collaborate with Business and IT stakeholders for creation of high-level program roadmap, critical milestones, and budget for the program. Develop and manage highly sensitive timeline involving deliverables. Resolve numerous project issues including staffing shortages, tactical matters, scope creep, divergent business, and user needs. Ensure risks are accounted for, tracked and planned mitigation strategies. Facilitating technical discussions with Architecture team and Domain tech leads to identify changes across all the domains and come up with Architecture diagram with impacted applications. Coach project teams in Agile practices and provide necessary training to create positive mindset to Agile methodologies. Facilitate Scrum framework – sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily scrums, sprint reviews and sprint retrospectives. Lead sprint reviews, daily scrums, and planning meetings to realize full team engagement. Planned Agile best practices and encouraged team cohesion, overcoming impediments and hurdles to productivity. Drive Scrum team progress to overcome obstacles and realize success throughout life of each sprint. Work closely with Dev and Testing teams on technical and functional stories and provide recommendations on code quality, scalability, maintainability, and application performance of application. Work closely with End-to-End Testing team on Test planning, Test preparation and Test execution efforts. Utilize Jira tool for tracking tasks, issues, risks, defects, versions, and releases. Generated dashboards and reports for status communication. Facilitate daily status meetings with domain leads and End-to-End testing team to discuss and track the status of Development and End-to-End Testing. Develop weekly program dashboard and conduct weekly status meetings with all Business and IT stakeholders to discuss and track overall program status, budget, and schedule. Work with Change management team for planning and implementation of production deployments. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in IT field - required ScrumMaster Certification - preferred Master's degree - preferred PMP Certification - preferred 10+ years supporting Java/J2EE applications Operations & Maintenance Support 5+ years leading teams 5+ years as ScrumMaster/working in Agile environment Experience with Jira
