Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Acoustics Trial Director to join our team in Bethesda, MD

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Plans and conducts acquisition and analysis of at-sea acoustic evaluations.

• Must be able to lead a team to completion of analysis and reporting of at-sea results and recommendations.​

• Ensures data quality in real time and uses personal judgment to determine the best path forward as an evaluations objectives change.

• Prepares written, technical reports that identify emergent issues and works with team members to present recommendations for remediation.

Basic Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Physics

• Previous Officer of the Deck (OOD) underway or equivalent experience

• Possess knowledge of, and be proficient in, working with U.S. Uniformed Services ships to include a minimum of three (3) years of hands-on, demonstrated experience with navigation and/or piloting safety.

• Possess an established, demonstrated track-record of project management and successful task completion to include coordinating U.S. Navy ship operations with a test and evaluation program agenda.

• Five (5) years of experience with both submarine and surface ship acoustics. The experience shall also include a thorough understanding of acoustic measurement systems, in-water measurement arrays, the interfacing of hardware and the development of software. Individuals shall have an established track record of project management of system development and integration.

Security Clearance Requirements: The ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
