Banquet Setup

Job Summary:

The Banquet Set-Up Person is responsible for the physical setup and breakdown of all banquet events. This includes arranging tables, chairs, and other equipment as per the event requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Event Setup: Arrange banquet halls as per the layout plans. Set up tables, chairs, tablecloths, and decorations.
• Equipment Handling: Safely transport and set up necessary equipment such as podiums, projectors, and audio-visual gear.
• Coordination: Work closely with the Banquet Captain to ensure setups meet event specifications.
• Maintenance: Keep all banquet equipment clean and well-maintained. Report any damages or shortages to the supervisor.
• Breakdown: Efficiently dismantle setups after events. Ensure all equipment is properly stored.
• Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols during setup and breakdown processes.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in event setup or related fields is preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow layout plans.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including early mornings, nights, and weekends.
