About this job
This is a full-time on-site role for a Technician, based in Harrisonburg, VA. The Technician will be responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining a variety of communications technology solutions, including cabling infrastructure, wireless networks, security surveillance cameras and door access, and mass notification. Additionally, the Technician will be responsible for assisting with customer support and service requests.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Ethernet, fiber, and copper cabling
- Experience with network devices such as switches and routers
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Knowledge of security camera and door access systems
- Experience with wireless network setup and configuration
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience
- Industry certification such as CCNA, CompTIA A+, or Security+ is a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Required qualifications:
- 16 years or older
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
