Amoura, a family-owned restaurant located in South San Francisco, is looking to hire a Line Cook.
Our ideal hire would be able to perform the following duties:
- Minimum 2 years experience in high volume food production with a focus on quality (fine dining and/or up-market catering experience encouraged)
- Strong understanding and passion for sustainability and seasonality
- Friendly and flexible personality
- Mature decision maker and team player - you will be an integral part of a new but well-seasoned team
- Well developed palate
- Excellent knife skills
- Knows how to work with a sense of urgency
- Solid knowledge of all basic cooking techniques, ie: braising, roasting, sauté, baking, poaching
- Must be clean and organized
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable and motivated
- Flexible schedule
- Must have valid food handler’s certificate
