ELS is hiring for the position of Front of House Manager in Marblehead, Ohio.

Job Overview

Manages the staff and daily operations of our establishment, working cooperatively with all team members. Candidate will be responsible for the implementation of our restaurant. policies and procedures, and will participate in achieving our revenue objectives. Will also ensure that staff remain compliant with all local, state and federal laws, and that guests needs are promptly met.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist in hiring, training and supervision of all staff.
  • Work with kitchen management to ensure all food safety procedures are strictly adhered to according to sanitary regulations.
  • Work closely with management to meet revenue objectives, maintain budgets. Assist in implementing appropriate strategies to resolve adverse trends and improve sales.
  • Maintain safe working conditions by following safety procedures in accordance with state and federal law.
  • Follow company policies and procedures regarding the handling of cash, property, products & equipment.
  • Audit inventory levels to ensure product availability, and order products as necessary.
  • Manage daily operations, both independently, and cooperatively with other members of management team.
  • Be accessible for guests and staff during peak hours.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience of 2+ years in the restaurant industry as a manager
  • Basic knowledge of labor and cost management processes.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for providing exceptional, noteworthy experiences for all guests.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while promoting a culture of respect and accountability to staff.
