Mentor Speaker/Coordinator

Speaker/Coordinator Responsibilities:

• Promote the organization's mission, vision, and core values.
• Deliver presentations at schools, churches, and other venues as required.
• Collaborate with the Executive Director to enhance and improve presentations.
• Participate in ongoing training related to relationships, adolescent psychology, and effective communication with youth.
• Develop meaningful relationships with teachers, youth, and community members.
• Attend staff meetings as necessary to stay updated on organizational matters.
• Gather data from student surveys to inform program development.
• Attend events sponsored by the organization to support its mission and goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Social Science or related fields, with a background in Public Speaking.
• Understanding of teen culture and the target audience.
• Comfortable addressing topics such as peer pressure, healthy vs. unhealthy relationships, etc.

Hours/Pay:

• Compensation: $18-$19+/hour based on experience.
• Accrual of Paid Time Off (PTO) and 12 Holidays off per year upon hire.
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule.
