Nocturnist Opportunity at Bay Pines, FL VA

The Bay Pines C.W.Y. VA Medical Center has an immediate opening for a full time IM/Family Medicine board certified Nocturnist. The Bay Pines VA is located on the beautiful west coast of Florida, eight miles northwest of the international resort community of St. Petersburg and features a beautiful setting, with views of the Intracoastal Waterway from many hospital rooms. Candidates must be highly motivated, team-oriented, and committed to the care and good health of our veterans. Highlights of this opportunity:

• Competitive starting salary $270,000-$280,000
• Work schedule: 80hrs per biweekly pay period ( 7 on 7 off- including 2 day shifts)
• Provides direct patient care in inpatient setting
• Responsible for ensuring high quality, patient-centric care for the veterans hospitalized to Bay Pines VA Health Care system
• Responsible for admitting patients from the emergency department
• Responding to codes and rapid responses. 
• Answering the floor calls

 Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. citizen. Non-Citizen candidates will be considered if a U.S. Citizen is not found
• Full unrestricted license from any U.S. State
• Board certification in Internal medicine or family medicine required
