We never shy away from a problem that we must solve to achieve our mission, but always bring potential solutions to the table. _______________________________________ THE ROLE Invictus Academy is an independent public charter school located in El Cerrito and we are seeking a School Operations Manager to join our team who believes deeply that the mission, model, and values at Invictus are driving improved educational outcomes for students. The quality of our school is defined by the quality of our team. In that spirit, we are seeking exceptional individuals to execute the following “essential job duties” and responsibilities: RESPONSIBILITIES Manages the Tier 1 & 2 Attendance Intervention System; maintains accurate aggregate attendance records, including communicating with families to support improved attendance, leading the weekly attendance meeting, and collaborating with the Directors of Student Support when Tier 3 Attendance Intervention is needed Serve as the meal program director and oversees meal program by ordering and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations Ensures a well-maintained facility, clean and safe learning environment in collaboration with the Director of Operations; manages the keys, bells, gate, day-to-day maintenance and stocking needs, opening and closing procedures Maintains inventory of regular school and office supplies and PD snacks and follows established budget Places orders for events and students incentives Orders and tracks instructional, discretionary, and elective supply requests in line with established budgets Manages financial processing, including invoices, billing, setup and communicating with vendors, and proper descriptions and coding for transactions Daily manager of PowerSchool and CALPADS; ensures that student records are complete and accurate Plans school-wide events and celebrations Coordinate sub coverage and logistics Manages the operations team, including the breakfast and lunch service provider, front office manager, the office assistant Provides translation as needed Supports the school library system Other duties as assigned _______________________________________ IS THIS YOU? DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS You’ve earned a Bachelor’s degree Bilingual in Spanish. Experience working in a school setting. Experience with bookkeeping. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position is on-site. The employee must have sufficient mobility to report to campus, work in an office, and engage with students and families, with or without reasonable accommodations.
