Beach House Group, a dynamic, global consumer product solutions house that creates and commercializes world-class brands is looking for an experienced and strategic Operations Manager with wholesale and direct to consumer CPG experience to join their hardworking team of results driven, creative, fun, and collaborative people. Reporting to the Brand President, the Operations Manager is responsible for developing and delivering the day-to-day operational and supply chain processes for Marlowe, and other projects as assigned. Key Responsibilities Responsible for realizing the strategic objectives of the operations/supply chain function through clear planning, effective execution and providing simple and precise performance and management reporting. Own supply chain KPIs including in-stock rate, on time delivery/fulfillment, fulfillment/transportation cost, and more. Develop process maps, cycle times and assist in cycle time optimization to increase inventory velocity and ensure standard operating procedures, metrics and measures are in place. Manage planning and inventory control processes. Collaborate with Commercial stakeholders on forecasting through a Sales and Operations Planning process. Execute global operations including, but not limited to vendor relations, 3PL network management, inventory forecasting and purchasing, freight forwarding, warehousing, fulfillment, transportation and returns. Direct inventory levels to meet customer service, business continuity and cost objectives throughout the distribution network; ensuring efficiency linking suppliers/manufacturing plants, warehouses, distributors and customers to ensure on-time order fulfillment and complete shipments to customers. Manage all aspects of product status to meet customer order requirements and accurately track each product through the supply chain process. Provide full status reporting on weekly and monthly basis. Production Management: Manage third-party contract manufacturers within the CPG industry. Negotiate and maintain contract management. Assist with contract manufacturing contracts, processes and quality control standards. Analyze and optimize contract manufacturing performance and costs. Maintain and review vendor scorecards with key suppliers. Communicate effectively and collaborate cross functionally to help build strong partnerships. Warehouse Management: Manage third-party logistics provider(s) including forwarders. Familiarity with WMS systems and processes. Proactively identify potential conflicts or issues, such as delays, service quality concerns, or communication breakdowns. Partner with 3PL to resolve such issues quickly and effectively. Ensure that agreed upon SLAs are met per the contract. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure adequate stock levels; partner with demand planning to ensure no out of stock positions. Implement inventory control strategies to reduce excess inventory and minimize carrying costs. Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely and cost-effective supply chain operations. Quality Control: Monitor, investigate and resolve any product quality issues or defects that may arise. Develop and document action plans to recall products if necessary. Cost Management: Monitor and control operational costs, identifying areas for cost reduction across the supply chain. Implement cost-saving measures and process improvements to enhance profitability. Process Optimization: Continuously identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in operations and implement improvements. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to measure operational effectiveness. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in operations management, business, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience in operations management within the consumer goods industry, beauty industry preferred. Proficiency in using ERP and inventory management software, NetSuite preferred. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability.
