Providing guidance, instruction, direction, and leadership to the Inventory team and in ensuring timely and accuracy in all physical audit completions, governance and compliance with the Brambles audit and IPEP Policy * Responsible for ensuring that policies, and procedures are up?to?date. Collaborate with Sales & Customer Service, Retail Supply Chain team, Finance and external vendors to communicate and provide recommendations to the business regarding audit results and emerging risks * Build a winning culture, with enthusiastic leadership and the ability to communicate and connect with all levels within the organization. Ultimately responsible for the attraction, retention, motivation, and engagement of Hire Stock Auditors. To ensure proper management and control of CHEP assets by physical counting and auditing the stock levels and controls of CHEP products at customers through Hire Stock Audits * To provide both office based and on-site support to clients to ensure that the integrity of the pooling control system is improved, client queries and control issues are dealt with quickly and effectively and the perception of value for money and customer care is entrenched in the minds of our clients * This role is required 90% travel to customer sites to count pallets and only 10% work from office or home **Major/Key Accountabilities** * Manage a team of Hire Stock Auditors (Inventory Team). Supervise, coach and develop staff to ensure efficiency of the department, satisfaction of internal and external customers, and to maximize associate performance * Responsible for planning (annual planning) and scheduling of Hire Stock Audits * Responsible for working closely with the External Customer and the Internal Support / Commercial Teams in creating the fiscal audits schedule * Visiting and Conducting Physical counts at the Customers sites * Based on the count schedule, visit customers sites along with Hire Stock Auditors to complete the physical counts along with the team members * Strict adherence to Customer Safety protocol must be followed in accordance with CHEP Zero harm policy guidelines and Proper PPE gear must always be carried before entering Customer sites * Managing Inventory Score card and publishing results on a monthly basis. Monitor and deliver results to the expected baseline * Identify training needs and provide training and post-training support based on Audit Scorecard * Responsible for on-site physical audits governance for Emitters and Retailers * Manage 3rd party vendor whenever needed by monitoring the set budget and enforcing contractual obligation is key for success * Responsible for creating accurate and timely physical audits as per the audit plan * Identifying and recommending solutions to all system related issues in Physical Stock Management * Communicating audit results to Audit Team, Customer Service, Retail Supply Chain and Finance * Fully own and work with the Brambles internal auditors to facilitate and provide on-site support for the scheduled fiscal audits.
