About this job

This is a full time Bartender position at The Tavern restaurant. The position pays $12.00/hr + tips + 5% of alcohol sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Completion of all side work and stocking of bar per standard.
  • Serves beverages in bar; serves beverages for restaurant guests as needed.
  • Provides efficient, courteous beverage service to bar customers. Takes bar food orders, relays to kitchen and servers
  • Accounts for money in cash drawer; accurately counts down bank for each shift. Does daily cash reports and closes out register at each shift
  • Keeps the bar neat, beer cooler stocked, ice bins filled, bar snacks filled and distributed through bar, glasses washed and stored, and fruit stocked for garnish.
  • Checks Id's on alcohol sales.
  • Attends scheduled training classes as required.
  • Assist with telephone coverage, "to go orders", reservations, and other service tasks as needed.
  • Able to assist banquet functions throughout Reynolds Lake Oconee.


Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have a neat appearance.
  • Outgoing personality, cheerful demeanor, and easily able to engage in conversation with members.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 25lbs.
  • Minimum of six months bartending experience or equivalent formal training.
  • Able to walk and stand through the duration of shift

Schedule:

  • Fridays through Mondays dinner shift
  • Food & Beverage operates 6-7 days per week. As needed, Food & Beverage employees must be available for overtime hours.
