Salary: $25.00 per hour.

Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm

Location: 1780 B Crossroads, Odenton MD

**JOB** **DESCRIPTION/OVERVIEW:**

**Applicants selected for this position must meet eligibility requirements for access to customer information regulated by the ITAR. Only US Persons are eligible for this level clearance, hence for this position, Iron Mountain will consider only US Persons.*

* Transport customers media to and from specified points within the districts territory.

* Responsibility for servicing the customer in a congenial/ prompt/efficient manner/prioritize request on a daily basis.

* Perform emergency/priority requests and any other customer requests requiring transportation.

* Operate under specific detailed instructions; refers changes in schedule or problems to supervisor.

* This position calls for a significant amount of physical strength and stamina.

* Requires repeated lifting, walking, standing, and manual material handling activities on a daily basis.

* Load and unload vehicles as required and verify accuracy of deliveries and pick-ups

* Daily travel to other facilities and customer sites.

* Driving a company vehicle (such as a mobile shred unit or straight truck) to transport materials from client and Iron Mountain locations.

* Prepare and maintain all courier paperwork to include: work orders/parking ticket/toll receipts.

* Notify - any abnormal conditions requiring repair to vehicle or any accidents.

* Maintain - vehicle and equipment associated with delivery/pick-up.

* Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS:**

* At least 21 years old with a valid **Class: A CDL license plus a good driving record** **is required.**

* **Be able to pass a pre-employment** MVR check/substance abuse/ screening/ a background check/ DOT physical.

* At least one year of route transportation experience is required

* High School diploma or equivalent

* Sound verbal communication skills and knowledge of greater metropolitan area.
