Trelleborg Healthcare and Medical is seeking a
Sr.Operations Manager
to join their team.The Senior Operations Manager has responsibility for the site’s production operations working closely with Engineering, Quality, Commerical Teams, New Product Development, Innovation Center, and customers to deliver high quality parts to Healthcare & Medical customers. This role oversees department managers to ensure departmental goals are established and achieved, maximizing customer satisfaction while minimizing cost.

Required:
4 year degree in Engineering, Operations Management or related field
7+ years Operations experience
5 years of supervisory experience
Experience with Lean Sigma methodologies
MBA or Master’s degree in a related field
10+ years of Operations Management experience
Experience with clean room/medical device manufacturing
Tasks and Responsiblities:
Ensures departmental goals are established and driven to support Trelleborg’s Goals and Objectives
Works with direct reports to communicate and update goals and/or metrics, illustrating objective evidence of improvement
Performs process audits to monitor procedure and policy conformance
Responsible for supporting and sustaining Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost metric boards across operational departments
Collaborates across functional areas to implement needed improvements (tools, equipment, procedures, forms, training materials, etc.)
Actively promotes and leads a culture of continuous improvement, guiding site Manufacturing Excellence and Procurement Excellence goals.
Leads and sponsors key site projects which includes operational planning and forecasting as well as site and business unit strategies.
Partner with engineering, automation and tooling resources across the Business Area and Business Unit, to ensure best practice sharing and apply learnings
Partner with Management to ensure the site’s financial goals and deliverables are met
Active participation in establishing site operation strategic planning and creation of a business plan for the site in alignment with Trelleborg’s vision
Responsible for successful implementation of the site business plan in colloaboration with site leadership; as needed will cross collaborate with cross BU functions to ensure successful execution
Effective leadership in supporting employee engagement efforts and communication
Support and provide regular alignment with Supply Chain, Quality, Innovation Center, NPD channels in support of a One H&M Culture.
Provide excellent customer support to ensure a positive customer experience
Support manufacturing process to support initiatives that sustain a culture of Lean.
Escalates issues or concerns to General Manager as appropriate
Conducts quarterly communication meetings to review performance, production, project status, and Initiatives
Provides a safe and clean working environment for all employees
Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language
Ability to communicate clearly by conveying and receiving ideas, information and direction effectively
Ability to demonstrate adequate job knowledge to deliver a world class performance
Ability to challenge oneself to consistently meet all goals and deadlines
