**Our Distribution Center Network is looking for a dynamic and motivated Delivery Driver Professional to join our Savage, MD Cross Dock team!**

****Full Time 26 Straight Truck Delivery Professional****

Monday - Friday 6:00 am until route is complete

$21.05/hr.

**Position Description:**

The Delivery Driver Professional job will involve:

* **Candidate will be running a back up route to cover for drivers when they are out on PTO/Sick (full time position).**

* Professionally and safely delivering orders to our customers

* Making multiple customer stops

* Providing customer service in a variety of health care settings

* Conducting daily vehicle inspections and keeping his/her vehicle neat

* **Driving 26 bulk straight truck and sprinter van**

**Preferred Requirements:**

* **1-2 years' experience in Class B with air brakes, preferred.**

**Minimum Requirements:**

* Required to have a current valid US Drivers License **WITH DOT MEDICAL CARD**

* 1 year experience in a straight truck delivery vehicle.

* Ability to maintain a safe driving history

* Must be 21 years of age or older

**Critical Skills:**

* Demonstrated excellent verbal skills

* Ability to track Key Performance metrics like Average Mile, Average Time and Service Rate

**Other Skills:**

* Knowledge of Maryland, DC, and Virginia and surrounding areas

* Face-to-face Customer Service experience preferred

* Problem resolution skills

* Ability to work independently and on a team

* Attention to details

* Knowledge of material handling equipment

* Can demonstrate knowledge of DOT regulations

**Education:**

* High School diploma or equivalent

* Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted

* Frequently required to sit for 3 or more hours

* Frequently required to stand for 3 or more hours
