Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the sales team, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they are driven and equipped to meet their sales targets.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, encouraging open communication, and addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
• Utilize your construction background to provide technical expertise and assist the sales team in understanding the intricacies of pool and landscape construction projects.
• Set ambitious sales goals and objectives, creating sales strategies to maximize revenue and expand our customer base.
• Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring seamless coordination between the sales team, project managers, and clients.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders, representing the company's brand and values with professionalism and integrity.
• Conduct market research and stay abreast of industry trends to identify new business opportunities and potential areas for growth.
• Analyze sales data and metrics regularly to evaluate performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Work closely with the management team to develop pricing strategies and effectively manage product/service offerings to maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Compensation and Commission Structure:

• The Sales Manager position offers a base salary ranging from $70,000 to $75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
• Additionally, the position offers the opportunity to earn additional commission, based on the performance of the sales team.

Work Schedule:

• Our company does year-round sales even during our slower periods in the winter, However, we maintain operations during these times, and our sales team continues to work diligently to secure new projects and maintain customer relationships.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a successful sales professional in the construction industry, particularly in pool and landscape construction projects.
• Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role, with a track record of effectively managing and motivating a sales team.
• Strong knowledge of pool and landscape construction processes, materials, and industry trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze sales data, develop strategies, and implement action plans to achieve sales targets.
• Results-driven with a passion for exceeding goals and driving team success.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
