Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible, hard-working, great attitude and willingness to learn and take direction are of utmost importance for an employee to succeed at Goodfellas!
- Keep notes and logs of all events & busy volumes in the Manager Logbook
- Ideas to improve service or overall store operations
- Training of line-level staff; prep work, cooking, health & safety practices, 30-second relationship strategy and customer service skills
- Provide the best product possible for our guests
- Deal with guest and employee issues if/when they arise
- Obtain food manager's certification (provided by Goodfellas)
- Maintain inventory of all food ingredients, stocking as needed
- Follow all health and sanitation practices, as well as all safety procedures and protocols
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of food safety procedures preferred; enthusiasm to learn required!
- Excellent interpersonal skills & time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
- Ability to work in collaboration with team members s/he is also managing
- Ability to work efficiently and safely with all kitchen equipment
Education and Experience:
- Previous experience as a shift lead or manager highly preferred
- Previous restaurant experience preferred but not required
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds repetitively
- Ability to stand for 10-hour shifts
