Energy Recruiters has been engaged to support our Client in their search for a Territory Sales Manager. In this role, you willberesponsible for daily sales activity/volume/margin growth with both existing and new customers, assisting the supply team by matching demand to supply positions, coordinating delivery details with the logistics team, as well as developing lasting relationships with customers and prospects.

Responsibilities
Implement a salesplan for new business development of fuels sales andcontinued developmentof existing customers.
Acquire new accounts through extensive face-to-face prospecting and networking activities
Establishdaily customer pricing based on local market knowledge, terminal supply positions and other industry data.
Actively manageyour pipeline of prospects and sales opportunities in CRM that supports the budgeted sales grow expectations including next steps, correspondence,etc.on a daily basis.
Develop and deliver formal and informal sales presentations.
Develop local knowledge of competition and work with the supply and logistics teams to leverage volume and margin gains at local terminals.
Meet monthly and annual goals for margin and volume sold.
Quickly and professionally address any issues (credit, supply, pricing) that impacts customer relationships and that supports company policies and procedures.
Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, and techniques, etc.
Update management by maintaining and submitting activity reports and market plans.
Assigned key account management - develop and implement account plans to identify and monitor opportunities. Plans should include an assessment of the current state of account, share of wallet, competition within the target, key decision makers, overall fuel budget, issues/pain points within the target and within the customer's marketplace, current solutions, technologies and products, opportunity for new product and service offerings, and action plan to optimize spend potential throughout the assigned account.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
A minimum of five years of face-to-face sales experience is required; fuel or lubricant sales experience highly desired
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite skills required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
Proficient in CRM skills required (Dynamics, Salesforce, Etc.)
Excellent professional communication, writing, multitasking, and organizational skills
Formal presentation and bid/proposal skills.
Ability to travel including overnights
Track record of driving new business
Able to function in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent customer service skills and ready availability to resolve our direct customer issues.
Establishnew opportunities with both prospect/new customers as well asexisting relationships
Clearly and professionally communicate with customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
