The Outbound Group Sales Manager for AutoCamp will be a strategic and key member of the sales and revenue team. Through strategic outbound sales efforts you will be responsible for generating new corporate and SMERF group leads for distribution to the AutoCamp sales team. This position will be deployed to a specific feeder market and territory for assigned properties. You will target industries, companies and organizations that could impact shoulder and off season business for the assigned property. A successful Outbound Group Sales Manager will be a self-starter with extensive experience in outbound sales, and rooted relationships with industry knowledge of their assigned territory. This position will be able to clearly articulate the AutoCamp value proposition to prospective groups. Please note that while this is a remote position, candidates should be based in the Salt Lake City area and able to travel as needed to assigned properties (Moab & Zion).

Essential Functions
  • Perform targeted outbound solicitation of businesses and organizations in defined territory and markets to strategically grow overall group bookings and property revenue.
  • Aggressively pursue new accounts/business on a regular basis by conducting client visits and raising property awareness through virtual and in person/office presentations.
  • Work with sales leadership to identify key accounts and build strategic road map towards expanding business opportunities within those accounts.
  • Promote awareness of AutoCamp brand internally and externally by networking with third party referral sources as well as attending appropriate feeder market industry events with potential to generate group business.
  • Establish relationships and network with key third-parties to garner a robust volume of qualified lead referrals.
  • Achieve weekly targeted outbound goals to support outbound lead volume goals.
  • Maintain up-to-date awareness of area activities and market trends


Requirements

Competencies
  • Relationships with feeder market companies, organizations and entities and a track record of generating group business from those relationships. A demonstrated ability to foster long term-sales relationships is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability and track record of group sales prospecting. Experience selling destination resorts and boutique/luxury markets is a plus.
  • A proactive sales approach and a natural drive to succeed
  • Demonstrated ability and track record of consistently exceeding sales goals.
  • Working knowledge of cloud-based applications; knowledge of Google Suite products preferred
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. Effective sales presentation and interpersonal abilities.

Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree; emphasis in hotel management or hospitality preferred
  • At least 3+ years of hotel group sales manager experience preferably high-end boutique or resort destinations
  • Multi-property group sales experience is a plus
  • Positive track record selling independent hotels and/or resorts with a focus on client lists in defined territory and feeder markets


Salary Description

$75,000 per year plus bonus
