**Description**

**Essential Duties/Responsibilities**

* Sell merchandise to customers, providing courteous, knowledgeable and helpful service.

* Accurately ring up sales and maintain sales documentation.

* Assist in maintaining a clean and efficient sales operation by participating in the general cleaning, vacuuming and dusting of the sales and stock areas.

* Restock merchandise in a timely and orderly manner as required.

* Assist with creation of new merchandising displays and themes.

* Sell lift and pass products to Purgatory guests and be well informed of all these products.

* Ensure guest satisfaction by providing prompt and accurate information regarding all Lift Products and Nordic Valley Resort operations.

* Be knowledgeable of all ticketing policies and procedures and guest service guidelines.

* Maintain excellent guest service skills, positive attitude, and a commitment to assist our guests in any way possible.

**Other Responsibilities**: Other duties as assigned.

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:

* Basic knowledge of retail sales operation.

* Solid customer relations skills. Basic computer skills.

* Alertness, precision, ingenuity, problem solving, analytic ability, spatial perception, persuasiveness, auditory, tactile and visual discrimination, memory, creativity, concentration, judgment, aesthetic sense, reasoning, imagination, initiative, patience, oral and written communication skills are necessary abilities.

**Education or Formal Training**: High school diploma or GED preferred.

**Experience**: Retail experience preferred but not required. Must be at least 16 years old.

**Physical Requirements**

* Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate amount of weight (up to 30lbs+)

* Sufficient physical ability and mobility to walk, sit and stand for prolonged periods of time

* Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis

* Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis

* Frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, twist, grasp, and make repetitive hand movements

**Work Environment**

Work is primarily performed in an indoor environment; exposure to noise, dust, mechanical and electrical hazards, and cleaning chemicals. Occasionally exposed to outdoor climate in which employees will be exposed to a variety of temperatures/weather.
