**Description:**

The Receiving Clerk assists with the receiving of incoming components and products.

**Qualifications:**

* Prior experience working in a materials receiving or inventory environment highly desired.

* Ability to accurately work with details, and follow detailed instruction.

* Willingness to maintain flexibility to do any job that is required to satisfy the customer.

* Basic skills and/ or knowledge of the following:

+ Hazardous Materials Identification System (HMIS)

+ Electro-static discharge(ESD)

+ Moisture Sensitivity Level ratings (MSL).

**Responsibilities:**

- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

- Maintains an organized and efficient Receiving/Incoming Inspection area. Breaks down all receiving boxes, properly disposes of packing materials, and maintains all material (received material, material to be inspected, material awaiting disposition, and rejected material) in the proper place.

- Signs for deliveries after inspecting all packages for and noting any damage. Delivers all packages to the appropriate person or holding area immediately.

- Processes the receipt of all incoming components, RMAs, and supplies on the day of receipt. Opens all boxes and verifies that the item(s) and paperwork are correct by comparing them to the purchase order system.

- Performs the data entry for all incoming components and any miscellaneous issues/receipts.
