Material Handler (Jewelry Ops)

Responsibilities

The Material Handler moves all components and finished goods throughout the manufacturing floor and ensures the proper flow of materials within the assigned department and eliminates bottlenecks of materials. This position will also require assistance on other assigned duties within the assigned department: weighing, counting, and scanning of tubes and components per work orders.

Qualifications

* Must be able to read & understand English

* Good communication skills (oral & written)

* Must be good with numbers and able to perform repetitive tasks accurately

* Ability to count and weigh merchandise

* Familiarity with JDE or equivalent

* Excellent Customer Service Skills

* Able to lift up to 15 lbs.

* Ability to multi-tasks with systems and measurements/counts

* Ability to work overtime including Saturdays as needed

Preferred Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED

* Experience in a high-security industry

* Proficiency with JD Edwards, or equivalent inventory control related software systems
