Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Hotel General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our prestigious hotel. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences. As the Hotel General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all hotel departments, maintaining high standards of service, and driving overall profitability.

Responsibilities

Operational Management:

•Oversee and manage all aspects of daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance, and other departments.
•Develop and implement effective operational policies and procedures to ensure seamless service delivery.
•Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance overall efficiency.

Guest Services:

•Foster a guest-centric culture, ensuring exceptional customer service standards are maintained throughout the hotel.
•Address guest concerns and feedback promptly, striving to exceed guest expectations.
•Implement and uphold quality control measures to ensure guest satisfaction and loyalty.

Staff Management:

•Recruit, train, and supervise hotel staff, ensuring a high level of professionalism and competence.
•Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance team performance.
•Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication, and employee growth.

Financial Management:

•Develop and manage the hotel budget, ensuring financial goals are met or exceeded.
•Monitor revenue streams, control expenses, and implement cost-saving measures.
•Collaborate with the finance department to analyze financial reports and make data-driven decisions.

Sales and Marketing:

•Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to drive revenue through effective sales strategies and promotional activities.
•Stay abreast of market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth.
•Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate clients and travel agencies.

Maintenance and Facilities Management:

•Oversee maintenance and facility management to ensure the hotel's physical assets are well-maintained and meet quality standards.
•Implement preventive maintenance programs to prolong the life of equipment and facilities.
•Construct and manage a straightforward and effective marketing strategy to promote the hotel's services and amenities
•Inspire your staff through leadership, vision, and operational strategies that drive financial success by providing exceptional guest service
•Establish the hotel's reputation for quality by inspecting rooms, public areas, and the surrounding grounds for cleanliness and upkeep
•Facilitate strategic planning, objectives, and a timetable of action for hotel department leaders that meets overall hotel goals
•Create a budget to maximize profit margins while keeping costs in balance with guest satisfaction and quality of services

Qualifications

•Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills
•Previous experience as a hotel manager, assistant manager, or hotel department manager required
•High school diploma or equivalent GED; degree in hospitality or related field of study preferred
•Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience
•You must have 5 or more years of experience working in the hospitality field
