Warehouse Associate / Packaging (Full Time)

Mighty Distributing System of America (MDSA), a franchisor of sales and services in aftermarket auto parts, is looking for an enthusiastic associate to join our team at our national distribution center Mighty Product Center (MPC) in Jackson, Tennessee. MPC supports 100+ U.S. distributors in 45 states, five international master distributors, and local professional installers.

This position is a full-time position, eligible for all benefits, medical, dental, life, vacation, sick, and holiday pay. Monday Friday 7:30 to 4:00

**Job Summaries:** **Warehouse Associate:** Primary responsibilities will be to correctly pick products, move products by hand in a timely, safe, and efficient manner through effective scan/load methods. **Packaging:** Ensure products are properly packed in a fast-paced cool environment. **Responsibilities:**

* Responsible for picking up empty boxes from the conveyor line and quickly packing with the product

* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

* Ability to exercise sound judgment and take initiative

* Manually loads, unloads, sorts, and stages products throughout the warehouse

* Efficiently operate a manual pull or battery-powered pallet-jack

* Uses computer to look up items, print tickets or shipping labels

* Maintains an organized, clean, and safe work environment, including picking up trash and reporting all safety hazards and incidents

* Works harmoniously and cooperatively with others

* Follows all Company and OSHA safety guidelines

* Maintain attendance according to company policies

* Performs other duties as assigned

**Qualifications:** High School diploma or GED strongly preferred; a combination of education and experience may be considered Prior RF scanner experience picking orders (Recommended) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexible to change; willing to move around to other areas Ability to work overtime as needed Manually lift, push-pull, and/or carry merchandise that typically weighs up to 50 lbs, and may weigh up to 70 lbs.
