**The role:**

The Material Handler is responsible for off-loading and packaging top quality foam boards with optimal efficiency on the Fome-Cor Line. The Material Handler must adhere to EHS policies, procedures, and regulations at all times.

* Ensure compliance to all EHS policies and procedures.

* Move, stack, and store material and finished products.

* Operate forklift daily, as needed

* Operate stretch wrap machine, as needed

* Keep work area clean and neat throughout the shift.

* Supply machines with required and correct materials.

* Communicate with Production Coordinator daily.

* Respond to line breaks and board buckles.

* Place finished products in designated rows neatly and evenly.

* Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

* High School Diploma or GED with previous manufacturing facility experience is preferred.

* Basic math skills required.

* Accurately document and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

* Proficient in the safe use of utility knives, hand and automatic banders, band cutters, staple gun, shrink wrapper and radial saw.

* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills required.

* Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.

* The volume of work requires the handling of multiple tasks on multiple products.
