Essential Job Functions:
Work on different teams as assigned
Provide technical and nursing care to patients while using critical thinking skills.
Routine clinical testing and procedures including but not limited to (blood draws, blood pressures, IV catheter placement, etc.)
Strong client communication skills and desire to build and maintain client relationships; able to explain things clearly with a high level of comfort, tact, and empathy.
Manage difficult or fractious patients for diagnostics and treatments with minimal stress to the patient.
Monitoring and recovering sedated and/or anesthetized patients.
Calculation and administration of medications.
Proper handling and submission of laboratory samples.
Maintain accurate and up to date medical records
Commitment to providing the highest standard of patient care.
Willingness to learn new skills and accept constructive feedback.
Working collaboratively with the entire Friendship team
Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
LVT, RVT, CVT or actively in the process of obtaining licensure
Excellent communication skills- both verbal and written
Strong organizational skills
Problem solving ability
Proactive nature
Ability to multi-task in a stressful environment
Ability to speak and hear by phone or in person
Ability to read, write and type English
Ability to work as a team player
Ability to use and learn computers
Ability to master large volumes of detailed information
