Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Janitorial Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment in various commercial settings such as offices, retail stores, and public areas.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and cleaning ceiling vents.

• Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, floors, toilets, mirrors, tables, chairs, refrigerators, microwaves, restrooms, and kitchens.

• Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms, and common areas.

• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during cleaning and maintenance tasks.

• Handle and operate cleaning machinery and equipment according to protocols.

• Identify and report any safety or maintenance issues to management.

• Carry out special cleaning tasks and projects as required.

• Collaborate with team members and follow all health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Prefer experience as a Janitor or in a similar role but will train.

• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and supplies, and Safety Data Sheets.

• Ability to handle cleaning equipment and machinery.

• Strong attention to detail and conscientiousness.

• Good physical condition and stamina.

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.

Work Environment:

• Flexible work schedule with various shifts including weekends and holidays, as needed.

• Ability to work in different environments, adapting to the cleaning requirements of each space.

• Capable of managing workload efficiently and meeting cleaning standards within allocated time.

Training and Certification:

• On-the-job training will be provided.

• Certifications in specialized cleaning techniques or practices are advantageous.
