Job Description
Blue Rock Construction is a privately held Construction Management Company operating primarily in the Northeast and maintains offices in Burlington, NJ, Newtown, and Allentown, PA. Blue Rock provides Construction Management, Design/Build, Program Management, General Contracting, and Construction Consulting Services to corporate entities across the complete spectrum of American Business.
PRIMARY FUNCTION : To assist with project management and construction supervision efforts.
The Project Engineer is responsible for assisting the project team with coordination of subcontractors and suppliers, procurement, management of project documentation including submittals, RFI's and drawings. The Project Engineer will regularly attend on site progress meetings, and will occasionally be asked to assist with on site construction supervision. In addition, the Project Engineer will execute our quality control and closeout documentation process.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- BS degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- Construction experience on commercial projects
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strong technical and communication skills are critical
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Knowledge of Maxwell Pro Contractor, Microsoft Office (preferred)
