Job Description
This senior level position is only open to experienced system and network administrators. Initial responsibilities are as the primary architect and doer, with opportunity to develop into a department head and team lead over time.
Candidates must have experience provisioning and operating Linux servers and related infrastructure in AWS. Experience in Azure and with AD administration is a bonus. Ideal candidate also has a background in network security, FIPS, DISA-STIG, and operation in GovCloud. Experience optimizing configuration, security, and performance of LAMP / LEMP stack preferred.
We specialize in creating and operating custom online training, service, membership, and marketing platforms. Most of our systems are built on WordPress and utilize a combination of open source, commercial, and custom plugins to meet each customers’ unique needs. We delight our customers with excellent user experience and service.
We operate servers on multiple cloud platforms, including Amazon Web Services (AWS and GovCloud), Google Cloud Services (GCS), and various managed and unmanaged hosting providers.
This position is open only to local candidates who can work on-site in Draper, UT. We like to collaborate in person and expect you will work in our office while getting established. After that, you can work from home when appropriate.
Some of the work we do is regulated by the US State Department and requires that all personnel are US Persons on US Soil and must pass a background check. If you aren’t, don’t apply. Veterans are encouraged to apply. Background in information security and in regulated industries is a plus.

Sometimes we create simple training modules or courses, though most of the time we create full certification training programs consisting of multimedia learning experiences, practice activities, simulations and pseudo-simulations, knowledge checks, and human scored or computer based certification assessments.
