Pay $70,000 - $80,000 / year

Position Overview: The Special Events Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and planning all aspects of private events, ensuring seamless execution and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively prospect, sell, and book special events, including weddings, corporate functions, social gatherings, and more.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and customizing event packages accordingly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including culinary, operations, and event staff, to ensure flawless event execution.
  • Create and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and oversee event logistics from inception to completion.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining high standards of service and guest satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market competition to drive innovative event offerings.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in event sales / catering sales, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a similar role.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in Delphi software is a plus.
