If you are mechanically inclined, have called on engineers, municipalities or manufacturers in a regional or national sales capacity, keep reading, this could be a fit for you! The National Sales Manager will manage and develop our sales team for best sales results. You would lead, direct and monitor the activities of the sales team to achieve sales and profit growth. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to focus your efforts on the areas with the greatest sales potential and ones that produce measurable outcomes. You will work from your home office, and report to corporate office in Ohio several times a year.
If you like variety, you will enjoy working with various business sectors from engineering firms, to industrial and utilities accounts. You are comfortable working independently and don't mind the heavier travel needs of about 65-80% travel.
You'll develops strategies for Regional Sales Managers to promote growth throughout our regions. Sometimes you'll accompany sales and offer support and training to our extended sales force and customers, which could include seminars, trade shows, training sessions, and one-on-one discussions.
Monthly and yearly reporting on key performance indicators are part of your responsibilities too. You'll build relationships with with third-party manufacturers reps, as well as reviews of their performance every six months and recommend changes, as necessary.
You will meet with key clients on occasion, assisting sales representatives with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing sales. We value your expertise and look forward to meeting positive, experienced Industrial and engineering sales professionals with 8-10 years of sales experience and management experience.
Required: College degree, or exceptional experience in the industrial, municipal or engineering segments.
8-10 years sales management experience
Must live in the US over 7 years
