In the context of an exceptional commitment to hospitality, our on-mountain Bartender/Mixologist will be based at the Skylodge facility. This location is exclusively accessible to the Community Neighbors, with strict limitations on public access. Only those who belong to the Neighbors group are permitted to be present on-site. The Bartender/Mixologist will contribute to the smooth execution of various on-site mountain events. Their responsibilities include setting up the bar, providing assistance to the Restaurant Managers and the other Bartender/Mixologist as necessary. Their primary role revolves around bartending services, ensuring that all bar patrons are promptly greeted and served with the highest level of quality service. Collaborating closely with the Restaurant Managers and co-Bartender/Mixologist, your role will involve ensuring the bar is impeccably prepared and providing top-tier service.

Requirements

? Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere that reflects the Skylodge's exclusive and inviting ambiance.

Guest Service and Interaction:

? Greet and assist guests warmly, adhering to our guest guidelines, and delivering exceptional customer service.

? Assist patrons in selecting beverages from the menu and provide a high level of customer service.

? Handle customer conflicts with professionalism and composure.

? Exercise discretion and awareness when interacting with guests.

? Craft, mix, garnish, and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while adhering to company and state regulations.

? Prepare ingredients for drink recipes, following established procedures.

? Collaborate with supervisors and team members to create thematic holiday and event drink menus.

Hygiene and Cleanliness:

? Maintain pristine glassware and flatware through cleaning and polishing as required.

? Adhere rigorously to company and state guidelines for alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety protocols.

? Maintain a well-stocked and organized bar area, ensuring a clean and inviting atmosphere.

? Assist with glass clearing, bar trash disposal, and overall bar setup and breakdown.

? Uphold excellent personal hygiene and a polished appearance.

? Maintain clean and orderly spaces through sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and dishwashing.

? Polish silverware and maintain dishware, utensils, and glassware.

? Maintain and restock restroom facilities.

Inventory and Stock Management:

? Keep records of labeling, dating, and rotation for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic items.

? Manage daily inventory and initiate orders under the supervision of your manager.

? Maintain inventory records and dispensing records for DABS (Department of Alcohol Beverage Service).

? Create, organize, and manage stock lists.

? Contribute to beverage and snack inventory management.

Operations and Responsibilities:

? Report directly to the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Restaurant Manager.

? Fulfill any additional duties assigned by the Skylodge F&B manager.

? Comply with dress code, uniform standards, and health code regulations.

? Adhere to Powder Mountain's attendance policy and employee handbook.

? Display exceptional communication skills and prioritize high-end customer service.

? Maintain a phone-use policy that respects guest areas and focuses on service.

? Execute daily operations effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

? Provide assistance with Front of House (FOH) duties as required:

? Open and close Skylodge..

? Host guests, check IDs, and manage conflicts professionally.

? Set up and maintain beverage and snack stations.

? Operate POS system for order-taking and transactions.

? Serve and expedite dishes to guests.

? Support cashiering and payment processing with understanding of the POS system.

? Assist in building maintenance and cleaning tasks

Requirements

? Current Utah Food Handlers Permit

? Current Utah Sips & Tips Certification

? Age 21+

? Bartending experience 2+ years is preferred

? Able to work in a fast-paced environment

? Reliable Transportation. Must be able to drive Skylodge usually in inclement weather. A 4x4 vehicle is highly recommended.

Physical Requirements

? Ability to continually bend, kneel, and reach

? Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8+ hours)

? Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.

? Ability to lift 20-40lbs

? Ability to walk up and down staircases.
