**Summary/Objective** The Warehouse at C.C. Creations is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our fun, energetic, fast-paced and quickly growing Retail Team. With over 28,750 square feet of retail space, the Warehouse holds the Guinness World Record holder for the largest collegiate merchandise store in the world! The full-time Assistant Store Manager position will work directly with our Store Manager and other Retail team leadership to cover a range of primary responsibilities for our retail store including the recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and scheduling of part-time staff, as well as staff payroll management and cash management. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, have experience working in a retail setting, thrive in a team atmosphere, be highly motivated and have strong organizational and communication skills.

**Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**

* Oversee the part-time staff recruitment needs, while working with the marketing team to develop strategies, opportunities, and campaigns

* Oversee and perform employee interviewing process for entry level and promotions

* Oversee the hiring process and work with our Human Resources department to ensure all hiring steps are followed

* Hosting an organized, interactive, informative, and extremely engaging onboarding process

* Produce and communicate weekly staffing schedules, addressing needs, concerns, and remote locations

* Prioritize, plan, and adjust staffing schedules as needed to maximize sale efficiency in-store and online, while being conscious of the staff budget; work with online, receiving, floor merchandising, stocking, and marketing teams to ensure adequate weekly scheduling of staff

* Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs - policies, procedures, and processes) are being effectively trained, communicated, and followed

* Ensure that daily deposits are completed and posted in Counterpoint for both stores prior to 9:30am

* Participate in retail staff meetings to review and evaluate processes, concerns, and upcoming events/promotions

* Provide onsite supervision during all A&M home football game days, as well as rotating weekend coverage

* Assist in executing and scheduling staff for special events hosted by the Warehouse

**Secondary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:**

* Monitor, address, and document staff performance daily, weekly, monthly and each semester; perform a written-formal evaluation with each staff member once a semester

* Assist with the staff training, development, and enhancement efforts

* Assist with identify needs and plan to re-train and re-fresh staff knowledge and skills

* Monitor the overall customer in-store experience; provide improvement recommendations to the Store Manager

* Assist with provide management, mentorship and providing effective direction and communication for Leads and Sales Associates

* Perform store floor walks to identify and resolve any areas of concern

* Assist with the planning of staff meetings and special project agendas

* Jump in as a Lead, Sales Associate or other team member as needed

**Position Type/Expected Hours of Work**

This is a full-time position (40+ hours per week). You will be required to work some nights, weekends, holidays and all A&M home football games (or big events related to Texas A&M University).
