Role Summary:

The Revenue Analyst I role is responsible for settling Refined Product Sales and Purchases with counterparties.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Billing - Perform invoice and billing reviews that include:
    • Generating customer invoices in accordance with contractual terms and operations data to confirm accuracy and completeness prior to distribution to customer.
    • Creating miscellaneous invoices manually as required.
    • Confirming completeness of monthly and other periodic billings.
    • Distributing invoices timely to the customer.
    • Resolving billing discrepancies or issues timely.
  • Month End Completing monthly close activities, including validation and approval of charges from billing system.
  • Customer Service Providing good customer service for customers.
  • Research Performing researching relating to billing issues.
  • Compliance Preparing internal control documentation and evidence of controls.
  • Contracts Contract change validation.
  • Reporting Generate periodic reports as needed.
  • And other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting OR equivalent work experience required.
  • 1 to 3 years related experience is required.
  • Related experience in accounts receivable or billing is preferred.
  • Industry specific experience is a plus.
  • Experience utilizing Solarc RightAngle, JD Edwards, Synthesis, Insight or similar systems is a plus.

  • None required

Other Skills, Attributes and Abilities:

  • Proficiency using Microsoft office, with emphasis on Excel required.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills are essential for the successful execution of responsibilities in this role.
  • Well-developed analytical, planning and organizing skills and the ability to manage multiple high priority and high visibility processes are required.
  • Flexibility to work as part of a team, including cross-training for adequate coverage of daily tasks.

  • This position requires the ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and or/quantitative productivity standards.
  • This role requires the ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.

Physical & Safety Requirements:

  • This person must perform duties that require considerable use of arms and extended hours of sitting.
  • Required use of all ergonomically safe equipment in performance of job.
  • Normal office environment
