Job Summary

This role requires a seasoned Project Manager with a strong background in managing complex integrations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively utilize the acquisition integration playbook to ensure a successful integration process within the banking industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a meticulous integration plan, referencing the acquisition playbook, to seamlessly merge acquired systems, processes, and teams into the existing bank infrastructure
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria aligned with the guidelines outlined in the acquisition playbook
  • Oversees execution of project deliverables alongside project team members
  • Creates and updates a dynamic project schedule throughout the project lifecycle
  • Identifies and escalates issues effectively; ensures contingency plans are in place
  • Identifies interdependencies with internal departments, consultants, and vendors
  • Manages appropriate resource allocation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Leads progress meetings with project team members
  • Routinely and succinctly provides project status to senior management
  • Optimizes project planning tools and technology to plan, develop, and monitor phases of plan
  • Ensures effective communication and change management principles are followed
  • Develops and maintains relationships with departmental and senior management
  • Ensures decisions, outcomes, and policies are appropriately documented and organized
  • Develops comprehensive project budget; monitors, tracks, and reports on related expenditures
  • Adheres & helps the team to adhere & comply with relevant regulatory frameworks & industry standards.
  • Provide continuous process improvement
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Management or a related field
  • 2+ years in project management in the banking and financial sector or four years in project management or related work experience
  • Project Management Profession (PMP) certification preferred
  • Experience in acquisition integration
  • Leadership and team management experience
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical abilities
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Ability to appropriately prioritize goals and tasks
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage staff when those individuals report to someone else organizationally
  • Must be a quick learner and highly adaptable to liaison with subject matter experts
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office suite with proficiency in Excel
  • Proficient in project management software solutions
  • Ability to keep executive management & the project team informed of the progress of the initiative
Physical/Sensory Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the individual is:

  • Regularly required to sit, talk, and hear; reach with hands and arms; and occasionally stand and walk, stoop, kneel or crouch
  • May be required to lift or move up to 10 pounds occasionally
  • Regular required to use computers, telephone, and other standard office equipment
