Job Title: Senior Project Manager


About this role: MRM is seeking a Senior Project Manager. We are looking for a candidate who demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, who strives to excel professionally in the field of Project Management.


Our ideal candidate will contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment to build and enhance working relationships with clients, external partners and within the agency. This role requires the candidate to have a strong ability to work independently while identifying, analyzing, and resolving problems. This role also requires strong decision-making skills and the ability to communicate confidently and efficiently with managers and team members across all areas of the agency.


Responsibilities:

* Responsible for the successful development and implementation of multiple, complex solutions

* Effectively planning, problem solving and delivering quality with little supervision

* Manage multiple large-scale projects (launches, programs) simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment

* Facilitate project kickoff meetings

* Create and manage project scope documents and schedules/project plans

* Lead projects with cross-functional teams including creative, technology, QA, User Experience/Information Architecture, production, performance/analytics

* Interact and collaborate knowledgably with clients and partners

* Identify project resource requirements and facilitate staffing

* Coordinate asset deliveries with partners and perform asset quality reviews

* Manage workflow tickets and online collaboration

* Function as a client liaison

* May mentor APMs and PMs


Qualifications:

* Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, including those with clients

* Able to consistently demonstrate key leadership skills in leading the immediate and broader team and an immediate report to meet project and agency goals

* Able to work expertly under pressure and very comfortable with change and complexity in dynamic environments

* Able to shift readily between the "big picture" and the small-but-crucial details, knowing when to concentrate on each

* Able to work effectively with clients, partners and vendors to deliver an overall solution

* Understands and provides input for the project requirements and ensures alignment of the solutions

* Able to expertly lead and motivate multi-disciplinary project teams

* Able to expertly lead meetings with clients and agency team, and create/deliver persuasive presentations

* Able to manage multiple, concurrent projects

* Able to sell and negotiate solutions

* Strong ability to apply concepts in strategy, marketing and brand management


Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree preferred

* 5-8 years' experience in project management or service management within a professional services company

* Pharmaceutical experience a must

* Strong skill level with MS Office experience, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook preferred

* Strong skill level with MS Project or other project plan software (Smartsheet) preferred

* Strong skill level with production tools and proprietary software (Egnyte, JIRA, Content Management Systems, online routing, etc.) preferred

* Strong knowledge of the web and related technologies including (user experience, web development, web services, integration, application management and hosting) preferred

* Strong experience with digital campaigns, including site, digital experiences, email and OLA projects preferred

* Experience with Print, Photo, and/or Video Production a plus (may be required for specific roles.)

* Strong experience with project methodologies, including agile, hybrid, or waterfall

* Excellent project management skills and experience including:

o Schedule development, management, monitoring and oversight

o Resource management and forecasting

o Task and delivery management

o Risk identification and management

o Issue identification and management

o Estimate development, tracking and forecasting project fees and costs without supervision

o Contribute to Project Scope of Work documents and audit to identify risks

o Reconciling project fees and costs for client review

o Delegation to support teams


* Possible travel to client or partner offices
