DCS Corporation is looking for Senior Software Engineer to support tactical systems and subsystems of Navy platforms such as F/A-18 and F-35.
Essential Job Functions:
Leads development of software solutions by understanding customer and program intent and requirements.
Works closely with the Program Manager and Chief Engineer to design and implement software requirements and solutions.
Designs, develops, and implements computer software systems; leads software team in all aspects of software development; provides and supports structured process improvement activities.
Performs verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analysis on various projects.
Responsible for the software design, quality, and performance meeting program requirements and customer expectations.
Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics or Math plus 8 years of experience. Master's Degree in Computer Science highly desired.
Secret security clearance required on Day 1.
Minimum 7 years experience in the development of complex software systems for the DoD.
Experience with Java/C++ is required.
