You will join our Water team
As our new Project Manager, you will be part of an internationally leading company within the area of integrated water infrastructure. You will join our international community of interdisciplinary colleagues united around our water story and work collaboratively with water colleagues across the Americas and internationally.
Your key role and responsibilities will include:
- Serving as project manager for planning and execution of water and wastewater linear infrastructure projects, including:
- Assuming an active role in the selection of the project teams, preparing and administering project budgets & schedules for projects under supervision
- Managing budgets, project staff, subcontractors, task schedules, change orders and project risks (quality reviews and revenue recognition)
- Providing mentoring and technical oversight/guidance to project team
- Leading business development efforts, including development of new clients, proposal creation, project estimating and planning
- Serving as clients' main point of contact and achieving positive client feedback as determined by project closeout and client satisfaction surveys
- Actively engaging in professional societies. Including representing Ramboll's capabilities through technical presentations and client networking
- Serving as project manager for planning and execution of water and wastewater linear infrastructure projects, including:

- B.S. Civil/Environmental Engineering with 10+ years of experience desired; demonstrated expertise accepted.
- Technical expertise in managing and executing water and wastewater linear infrastructure design with specific experience in designing large diameter water distribution and transmission mains, sewage force mains and gravity systems, CSO, and/or stormwater conveyance systems.
- Technical expertise in managing and executing pumping stations andwater storage design experience is a plus.
- Experience in successful project management for water/ wastewater linear infrastructure and resiliency projects
- Client facing with strong existing client relationships within the water/wastewater infrastructure and resiliency field.
- Strong personnel development skills with experience managing and mentoring people in management, engineering, and design positions.
- Trenchless pipe installation and rehabilitation technologies experience
- Development of hydrostatic test plans, pipeline integrity test plans, and technical specifications
- Hydraulic modeling experience
- Proficiency in pipeline infrastructure codes and standards
- Professional certification or licensure in the MidAtlantic Region (Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia) or ability to obtain through reciprocity
