Industrial Hygienist

S&ME is seeking individuals with a passion for Industrial Hygiene. If you are eager to contribute and make an impact in your career, then come join our Environmental team in Greensboro, North Carolina as an Industrial Hygienist and help us provide solutions to our clients.


What You Will Do:

As an Industrial Hygienist, you will perform field and office work associated with industrial hygiene, under the supervision of other experienced EHS professionals. You will be preforming asbestos building assessments and abatement monitoring, hazardous materials assessments (asbestos, lead, radon, PCBs, universal wastes, etc.), mold/moisture assessment and testing, employee exposure monitoring including chemical and noise assessments. You will also perform report writing, data interpretation and preparation of tables, and maintenance of equipment

  • Assist experienced industrial hygienists with health and safety assessments and testing
  • Field Sampling Services to support environmental assessment activities, as needed
  • Client Development, as appropriate to level of experience

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, safety, engineering, or related sciences
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with industrial hygiene, safety, or environmental field testing
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability and willingness to accommodate periodic travel with overnight assignments
  • Ability and willingness to work outside of normal business hours, when necessary
