Description

The Opportunity

Ulteig is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Project Manager position for the Automation, Integration, and System Protection (AISP) department. This role will often be involved in the entire scope of the project from initiation through close-out. The successful candidate must have exceptional communication skills and possess the ability to successfully navigate through and resolve complex and oftentimes multi-functional challenges associated with medium to large projects. This position is a Hybrid role with the ideal candidate located in the greater Sacramento area.

What You'll Do

  • Provide project management support for large and complex projects
  • Support client with understanding of CA budget process and associated legislation
  • Virtually attend legislative hearings and provide briefings on relevant content
  • Prepare client for participation in upcoming hearings to include strategy, key talking points, FAQ materials and presentations
  • Responsible for facilitating project meetings and capturing key decisions and action items
  • Provide technical review, coordination and writing or editing of periodic reports, plans or presentations required by legislation
  • Coordinate communication and provides status updates to stakeholders
  • Assess and track project risks and assist the client with mitigation plans
  • Proactively manage project requests for information and action items
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal/written communications, time management, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Consistently produce results that meet goals, has high work standards, and understands the business environment and processes
  • Achieve results through problem solving, setting priorities and organization
  • Maintain customer focus to meet or exceed customer expectations and represent Ulteig in a professional and courteous manner

What We Expect from You

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA, BS) or equivalent experience in Engineering, Economics, Business, or related energy or policy technical field
  • PMP Certification preferred
  • Working knowledge of legislative, Federal and State regulatory agency processes and litigation tracking
  • Familiarity with NRC, CPUC, CEC and other state agency dockets/processes desired
  • 5-10 years of project management experience is preferred
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving standards.
  • Must have authorization to work permanently in the US
  • Must be able to travel 25% of the year

Additional Opportunity Details:
Compensation Range is Generally +/- 15% of Position Mid-Point of $119,700*
