Qualifications

What You'll Do:

Oversee Electrical Maintenance Program. Provide oversight for the electrical maintenance program.

Collaborate. Coordinate with Engineering and Operations groups on new electrical projects and modifications. Work with high and low tension, single, and multiple phase power lines and panels.

Schedule and Assign. Schedule projects and ensure assigned duties for installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment are carried out in the most efficient manner possible. Equipment will include all motors, generators, switches, control panels, circuit breakers, electric safety devices, resistors, electro-magnets, motor drives, transformers, magnetic breaks, starters, etc. located in shop facilities and at plant sites.

Prepare Diagrams. Prepare diagrams or sketches, often of a complicated nature, for work to be performed. Recommend design changes as needed.

Troubleshoot. Troubleshoot electrical power issues and prepare and coordinate plans, supplies, and crews to resolve issues. Maintain power supply lines as required.

Devise Electrical Circuits. Devise electrical circuits involving solenoids, switches, resistors, relays, and other "state of the art" equipment.

Additional Responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.

Skills You'll Need:

Education. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Experience. Must have at least 5 years of electrical experience with 5 years of leadership/supervisory experience.

Functional Knowledge. A good working knowledge of PLC systems and programming is preferred. Must have a thorough knowledge of electrical codes, plant and electrical equipment, low and medium voltage power distribution, and electrical equipment used in the plant and other operating equipment. Must be proficient in the use of equipment such as voltmeters, amp meters, indicators, and test equipment and instruments.

Travel. This role requires the ability to travel to surrounding locations in Northern California, including Sacramento, Napa, San Jose, and Fresno when needed.

Salary Range. The base salary range for this role is between $130,000 - $180,000 annual salary. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate's compensation, we consider a number of factors, including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
