An exciting opportunity to join an established manufacturer within the domestic and commercial plumbing sector where you will manage, guide, motivate and develop a national sales team selling in to Merchants, Distributors, Specifiers and Installers. Driving growth through installer and specifier development whilst taking personal responsibility for key customer relationships and development. They provide autonomy to manage the UK business with the opportunity for personal professional development and advancement. THE JOB: This is an autonomous role managing a team of 6 Area Sales Managers who sell to Plumbers and Builders Merchants, Installers and Specifiers. Implementing a strategic plan to deliver on sales targets and business objectives through mentorship, guidance and motivation of your team. You will conduct regular team meetings, joint customer/sales calls and regular performance reviews alongside your own account management/development of key Merchants and Distributors. Collaborating with internal teams and continuously exploring opportunities for business growth and improved performance. AREA: This is a national field based role. PERSON: We are seeking an experienced and professional sales manager with a proven track record of success. A strategic thinker who can develop and implement effective sales strategies. Whilst experience in the domestic or commercial plumbing sector would be preferable – it is not essential. More importantly is experience of supplying a similar customer base, strong management and leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
