AutoCAD Drafter

Urban is currently seeking qualified experienced CAD Technician candidates for our Chantilly office. Urban Ltd. provides full-service civil engineering, transportation engineering, land planning, landscape architecture and surveying services to private and public sector clients throughout the Washington DC metropolitan area. Responsibilities, Skills and Requirements will include: High proficiency in AutoCAD to provide high-quality technical drafting and land development design support Creates comprehensive land development plans based on provided data that include utilities, roadways, erosion and sediment controls, grading, and drainage plans Ability to succeed at multi-tasking – handling multiple project tasks while maintaining high quality and meeting assigned project deadlines Experience with other Autodesk software tools like Carlson and SurvCad is a plus Attention to the details while maintaining efficiency is paramount Communicates in a timely and effective manner within the team and with other disciplines working on the project At least 2 years’ experience preparing land development plans preferredbut not required Associates degree is a plus Founded in 1967, Urban is a stable base upon which to advance your career, learn new technical skills, work on interesting and dynamic projects, and achieve career growth in an industry-leading company.
