Warehouse Associate

Anasazi Imports is seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, involving tasks related to receiving, processing, storing, and dispatching goods. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, physically capable, and committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Receiving and Processing Shipments:

   • Unload merchandise from incoming vehicles and check that the correct number of items has been received.
   • Inspect goods for damage and discrepancies; report any findings to the warehouse supervisor.
   • Label and store items in designated areas.

2. Inventory Management:

   • Track inventory levels and report any shortages or discrepancies.
   • Conduct regular physical stock counts as required.
   • Use inventory management software to maintain accurate records.

3. Order Fulfillment:

   • Pick, pack, and label orders accurately for shipment or customer pickup.
   • Ensure that orders are processed in a timely manner to meet shipping deadlines.

4. Warehouse Maintenance:

   • Keep the warehouse clean and organized to maintain a safe working environment.
   • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, following all safety guidelines.

5. Team Collaboration:

   • Work closely with other team members to optimize warehouse operations.
   • Assist in other areas as needed, showing flexibility and a willingness to support various tasks.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory software.
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
