Barista /Server (Bell Gardens, Ca.)

Parkwest Casino is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Barista / Server to join our team and make a real difference in our guest's experience! This job creates an uplifting experience for our customers by providing customers with prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintain a clean and comfortable store environment. 1. Prepares espresso-based coffee drinks and other food products available.
2. Provides quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards. Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
3. Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the shift team.
4. Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues.
5. Assists with new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed.
6. Contributes to positive team environment by recognizing alarms or changes in partner morale and performance and communicating them to the store manager.
7. Delivers legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes-first attitude and connecting with the customer. Discovers and responds to customer needs.
8. Follows operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift.
9. Maintains a clean and organized workspace so that partners can locate resources and product as needed.
10. Available to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift.
11. Other job-related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
• Open availability to work Day, Swing or Graveyard.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• This position requires active CALIFORNIA FOOD HANDLERS Certification and/or Card.
• This position requires active RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) Certification.
• MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a current California gambling establishment employee permit, badge or license.
• Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
• Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test, criminal background, and credit.
