Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Maternity Leave Position - Columbus, OH Area
Soliant, a reputable healthcare staffing agency, is actively seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to cover a maternity leave position in a school district near Columbus, OH. This is a temporary assignment lasting 12 weeks, with a start date in January. The successful candidate will work onsite and focus on a Pre K caseload, providing essential speech and language services to support students during this period.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and screenings to identify speech and language disorders in Pre K students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to facilitate a supportive learning environment.
- Provide direct therapy services to students and monitor progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student evaluations, progress reports, and interventions.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Ohio state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Previous experience with a Pre K caseload is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet the unique needs of young learners.
