As our Data Analyst, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our Self-Service Analytic Initiatives. In addition, you will play a crucial role in generating prescriptive insights through the gathering of data and conducting statistical analysis. This role is 100% on-site in Indianapolis.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain Self-Service Analytic Initiatives
- Gather and analyze data to identify trends and patterns
- Conduct statistical analysis on various data types and test to generate prescriptive insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data into actionable recommendations
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data
- Identify data gaps, find data sources to fill these gaps, and make recommendations for additions to our data environment
- Design, implement and maintain reporting dashboards and KPIs with emphasis on automation
- Create decision support tools and analysis related to pricing initiatives and program changes
- Complete periodic variance analysis including researching POS level data for insights
- Prepare and deliver presentations describing trends and conveying findings
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role
- Proficiency with SnowFlake, Sisense, Power BI, Excel, SQL and Java Script
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex data findings in a clear and concise manner
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with data visualization tools
- Experience transforming raw sets of big data into clean and actionable information including integration of disparate data sources
- Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of making presentations to all levels of the organization including Executive leadership
- Exposure to CRM, loyalty, subscription, or database marketing a plus
- Ability to work with and act in utmost confidentiality with sensitive company information
