Job Summary

• The certified nurse assistant is accountable for providing personal care to the residents including assistance with personal hygiene, bathing, oral care and hair care. 
• Follows proper procedure in performing medication administration according to policy and procedure. 
• Performs certain housekeeping duties to maintain a sanitary, orderly and attractive environment.

Education &/or Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

• Certified as a nursing assistant in the State of South Dakota required within 120 days of starting.
• Completion of medication administration training with six months of employment.
• Basic Life Support Certification is mandatory within six months of employment.

Work Schedule

• Varied Shifts; 56 hours every 2 weeks
  • 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm, 11:00 pm - 7:30 am
  • Every other weekend
  • Every other holiday

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

• $18.25 - $24.00 per hour
