Position Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities:

Cloud Solution Architecture Design and Development (50%)

• Demonstrate knowledge of cloud architecture and implementation features (OS, multi-tenancy, virtualization, orchestration, elastic scalability, performance) across multiple public cloud platforms.
• Collaboration with customer and sales teams for ideation, design and testing of technical solutions for migration of products to cloud based on SaaS model.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert to the organization for cloud end-to-end architecture including product deployment.
• Develop a library of deployable and documented cloud design patterns, based on the product portfolio, as a basis for deploying services to the cloud.
• Demonstrate leadership ability to back decisions with research and the "why," and articulate several options, the pros and cons for each, and a recommendation
• Develop solutions architecture and evaluate architectural alternatives for public cloud models, including IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud services
• Ensure excellence in Service delivery to improve customer satisfaction and to minimize downtime.
• Specifies the components and their interactions that comprise the End to End Integrated Architecture including: Work with customers, stakeholders, and development teams to define high-level solution

• Drive scope definition, requirements analysis, functional and technical design, application build, product configuration, unit testing, and production deployment
• Ensure delivered solutions meet/perform to technical and functional/non-functional requirements
• Provide technical expertise and ownership in the diagnosis and resolution of an issue, including the determination and provision of workaround solution or escalation to service owners
• Ensure delivered solutions are realized in time frame committed; work in conjunction with project sponsors to size and manage scope and risk
• Provide support and technical governance, expertise related to cloud architectures, deployment, and operations

• Provide thought leadership in industry and to fellow team members across business and technical project dimensions solving complex business requirements
• Demonstrate forward thinking around where the organization is going and how technology can support these efforts
• Advocate and define cloud architecture vision from a strategic perspective, including internal and external platforms, tools, and systems

• Provide project team members with a clear vision and purpose for a project and creates a positive tone and morale for the team. Motivate team members and build project team identity and cohesion. Effectively manage cross-discipline coordination and communication.
• Lead the definition and development of cloud reference architecture and management systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• 10+ years of overall experience in technical leadership, application development, integration, Software Engineering, Cloud Solution Architecture, or similar experiences.
• Significant experience in technical architecture, middleware and database management systems (MSSQL or Oracle).
• Significant experience with AWS & AZURE architecture and implementation features and their tradeoffs.
• Experience working with ERP solutions is preferred.
• Experienced in guiding partners and/or customers thru adoption life cycle with hands-on guidance, reference architectures and depth engagement
• Experience architecting scalable, distributed public cloud solutions across SaaS, PaaS and IaaS.
• Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes
• Customer obsession coupled with strong problem-solving skills
• Prior experiences as a Cloud Solution Architect or Software Architect or other similar experience
• Experience with migrating legacy systems to the cloud.
• Ability to think creatively, and to inspire and motivate others to do so as well
• Excellent communication, presentation, documentation and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and ability to work independently without detailed direction while managing sometimes conflicting priorities
