**Job Summary:** The incumbent will focus on the transportation of tools, materials, and supplies to client sites, technicians, and vendors. **Reports To** : Service Manager

**Potential Career Opportunities:** Dispatcher, Inside Sales, HVAC Apprentice, CDL-A or CDL-B Driver

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Check and deliver materials and supplies to client facilities/ job sites and technicians

* Pick up materials and supplies from vendor locations and/or Fabrication Shop and/or Rockville Office (as appropriate).

* Verify Bills of Lading (B/Ls), and check receipts for accuracy (quantity and item).

* Perform pre-and post-trip vehicle inspections for safety and optimal efficiency, indicating the need for repairs as appropriate.

* Return excess materials/items and supplies to Fabrication Shop, vendors, and/or Rockville Office as indicated.

* Communicate effectively and courteously with customers and fellow employees.

* Provide emergency assistance for deliveries, as needed.

* Operates company vehicle safely and using defensive driving while following all traffic laws.

* Work with technicians on jobsites as a helper performing maintenance and or repairs as needed.

**Requirements:**

* At least one year of driving experience (strong preference for candidates above 21 years old due to insurance requirements).

* Valid state drivers license.

* Acceptable driving record (must be able to be underwritten by insurance company).

* Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 100 pounds occasionally to frequently without assistance.

* Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

* Strong verbal, written communication skills in English
